Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool is a beautiful seaside resort in the Lancashire area of England. It is situated 43 Km north of Liverpool and 64 km northwest of Manchester city.
I visited Blackpool from the heritage city of Bradford by a taxi. It took me around 2 hours to reach Blackpool. There are lots of attractions for tourists to see in Blackpool like

First we visited the Sandcastle Water Park with the family. We had 3 more families with us. Although the water park is not so big but it is full of fun. There are some rides for which you have to pay some extra money but these are worth it.
Clicking pics inside the Sandcastle water park is not allowed but if you are in a group, you can take the permission from the authorities and they will allow you to click your group pics only.
We spent around 4-5 hours in the Sandcastle water park. It was a great fun for adults and kids too. It was memorable one.
After this we spent some time on the Blackpool beach and enjoyed the beauty of the beach.
Then we walked on the beach and enjoyed the view of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Due to shortage of time we didn’t went inside the attraction for the rides But we are looking forward to it in our next visit to Blackpool. Now it has the famous ICON ride too which is getting great reviews from the visitors.
We also saw the Blackpool tram and then reached the Blackpool Tower. The entry to Blackpool Tower costs 14 pounds. From the top of Blackpool Tower you can see the entire Blackpool city. In the front of Blackpool Tower there is a big white painted carpet which is know as the ‘Comedy Carpet’. This Comedy carpet contains some famous comedy clippings/jokes from the different newspapers.
After this we spent some time on the beach then we decided to head back to our home city Bradford. Blackpool also has great illuminations in the night and is worth watching.
